Lady Gaga’s youtube account has lost over 150 million views on YouTube, after a crackdown on artificial inflation by the video sharing site.
A YouTube spokesperson revealed that VEVO reduced the play counts on many of its major artists by up to 2 million in December last year. Lady Gaga’s official account was not affected.
The views are said to be boosted by hackers who fabricate views for their favourite artists.
