Apple have confirmed rumours of a smaller, cheaper model of the iPhoneto be released later this year.
The budget iPhone will look much the same as the present model, with a
less expensive body and reduced specs. The release may be in response to
a boom in the success of Android devices.
Steve Jobs was famously opposed to the idea, as he thought a budget
model would detract from the user experience.
