A revealing infographic published by Spain-based SEO provider BlueCaribu has shown that 3.5 people search for the term ‘SEO’ each second.
The report, How big is the SEO industry on the internet, also identified more than 9m web users look for information on the topic each month. You can access the infographic here.
In total there are in excess of 863 million sites worldwide that boast information on the subject with 164,000 videos on YouTube detailing the subject.
Other key observations from the report revealed that the month of March yields the highest search volumes, but consistently a Thursday is the highest day for ‘SEO’ searches. India is has the highest ranked interested in the subject, followed closely by Pakistan and the Philippines.
