Coca-Cola have addressed issues relating to obesity in its newadvertising campaign, in response to many US Local Governments’ attempts
to ban sugary beverages.
The campaign focuses on the Food and Drink giant’s alternatives of low-
and no-calorie options, and presses the fact that it is taking in more
calories than we burn off that leads to weight gain.
Diana Garza Ciarlante, a spokeswoman for Coca-Cola, said “It’s the
first time we’re really leaning into the conversation… They expect us
to be part of the dialogue, to lead where we can and to be responsive.”
