BBC Sport has launched its own native iPhone app, available for Androidin the next few weeks.
The release is in response to the excess of two million downloads of the
BBC Olympics app in 2012, and will feature news articles, live text
commentaries and scores. It will also contain live streams of BBC radio
stations 5 Live and 5 Live Sports Extra.
Live video streams will be available to view later in 2013, and support
for Amazon’s Kindle Fire will be released after testing.
