Thinking of ways to create your own products can be one of the greatest challenges for any business. However, online market experts have refined the process and created a simple yet highly efficient way to create high quality information products as an offshoot of one single event.
The goldmine of any information business is the live seminar. Experts speak to delegates and share their experience and provide practical advice. The key here is to video the event. This video will then be edited and will be the first in a long series of products created from the seminar. This video is often sold for a fairly substantial price, anything from £200 to £5,000. Video clips can then be used for smaller products, YouTube videos or promo videos. the content can be used for writing articles, creating podcasts and for webinars. The process then is to break down the information and create products in as many different formats possible. Each one to either be used to promote the sales site or to sell as individual products. If a seminar is too big a step for you why not start with a round table discussion and video that. Get 3 – 5 of your best clients and experts from within your business to discuss a hot topic for an hour or two, then edit that video to create a product. Editing can be done fairly easily now in-house with great tools such as iMovie. Try it out, and become a publisher of your own great products!
