Canadian-born pop sensation Justin Bieber overtook Lady Gaga as the mostfollowed account on Twitter earlier today.
Bieber’s account has amassed almost 10,000 further followers since this
morning, and the total currently stands at 33,331,967. Gaga’s account
currently has 33,327,804 followers, and has been the most followed
account for several years, having been the first to reach 10, 15, 20, 25
and 30 million followers.
Late last year, Bieber’s account on photo sharing app Instagram became
the first personal account to reach 1 million followers.
