Leadership development business, LCP, had a strong desire to grow its database of corporate clients and consultants via a range of digital marketing strategies. It also wanted to grow exposure in the world of corporate training and wanted its three programmes to be recognisable in the leadership development world. GoldSand Digital was tasked with designing a digital marketing strategy for LCP that would meet these objectives.
The work
First of all, GoldSand Digital designed a ‘squeeze page’ for LCP and began driving valuable traffic from blogs, forums and article distribution networks to this one-page squeeze site. Using an effective domain, in terms of SEO, GoldSand Digital was able to make quick strides in getting the site ranked under the term: “Leadership Development Programme”.
To ensure that when visitors to the site actually left their details (name, number, email address), GoldSand Digital wrote a white paper to download in exchange for their details. Each time anyone downloaded the white paper, their details were automatically emailed to the sales team at LCP, who followed up the lead with a phone call or email.
Social media also played a huge role in engaging with LCP’s audience, and channels including Twitter and Facebook were utilised to ensure that LCP’s reach was as far as possible.
