Sky News have speculated that Facebook’s mysterious announcement willeither be an update to the search feature, or a new way to advertise on
the site. The new feature will be revealed today at 6pm GMT.
Rumours of a Facebook smartphone have been widely discredited due to
Mark Zuckerberg’s own statement that it would be the ‘wrong strategy’.
Facebook released a press release to bloggers and journalists last week,
simply reading ‘come see what we’re building’.
