YouTube has introduced a new ‘send to TV’ feature for smart TVs,allowing Android users to pair their device with the TV.
Users of the Android YouTube app will be able to send videos to a TV on
the same wifi, and queue up videos for later watching, in a bid by
YouTube to change the small-screen centred view of the service.
Shiva Rajaraman, YouTube director of product management, said “We’d like
to be all things video, and that means getting video into all places”.
