Social media channel Twitter has unveiled a new advertising platform that enables advertisers to harness the power of video to attract new customers. This feature, Video Website Card, auto-plays video content with a customised headline and offers a preview option that drives users back to a selected website, and is now available for use.

 

Advertisers can track campaigns using analytic metrics that include impressions, results, engagement rates and cost-per-result for ads.

 

The feature was successfully used by Jaguar USA when showcasing the 2018 Jaguar F-TYPE. It allowed them to capture viewers with a video of the vehicle, followed by an invite to learn more on its website.
