Sir James Dyson is investing £2bn (according to The Economist) into electric vehicles and solid state battery development. Although known to most for his inventive vacuum cleaner products, Dyson appeared on Blue Peter in 1993 to show the Dyson teams prototype cyclonic filter that could be fitted on a vehicle’s exhaust system to trap particles. BMW has revealed it is launching a black-and-white logo for use in the brand’s communications activities, which will be used to market the existing 7 series and i8 coupe and the coming 8-series coupe and convertible, i8 roadster and X7 large SUV. Congratulations are in order to our friends, John Clark Motor Group, who posted record turnover and increased sales for 2016, as reported by cardealermagazine.co.uk.
