BBC Sport has launched its own native iPhone app, available for Androidin the next few weeks. The release is in response to the excess of two million downloads of the BBC Olympics app in 2012, and will feature news articles, live text commentaries and scores. It will also contain live streams of BBC radio stations 5 Live and 5 Live Sports Extra. Ford have recently announced plans to integrate location-sharing appGlympse into its dashboard interface, SYNC. Users will press the voice command button on the steering wheel and speak the command "send Glympse" to share their location. The app will enable drivers to inform contacts of their whereabouts, their time of arrival, and their journey progress. YouTube has introduced a new 'send to TV' feature for smart TVs,allowing Android users to pair their device with the TV. Users of the Android YouTube app will be able to send videos to a TV on the same wifi, and queue up videos for later watching, in a bid by YouTube to change the small-screen centred view of the service. Facebook will integrate a feature into its Android and iOS apps whichwill allow users to send voice clips alongside regular chat messages. The feature will be available in a free update to its messenger app this Thursday. Users can send a voice message by tapping the existing + symbol and holding down the new record button until the message is over. Interest in Tumblr has never before overtaken those searching for general blogs, which rose sharply from 2005, and began to decline around 2010.
